The Celtic Manor Resort is one of the leading luxury golf and spa hotels in the UK. As venue for the 2010 Ryder Cup, The Celtic Manor Resort offers world-class golf courses and the ultimate in golfing facilities.  These include the Roman Road championship course and two new 18-hole courses –  The Twenty Ten Course and The Montgomerie

There is also a world-class golf academy featuring a floodlit driving range, practice range, golf shop and teaching bays and a luxurious golf clubhouse, The Lodge, with its own bar, restaurant, health club and spa.  

Location – How to get to the Celtic Manor?

The Celtic Manor Resort is set in 1400 acres of panoramic parkland in the beautiful Usk Valley, just off the M4 (J24), only 90 minutes from London Heathrow, 45 minutes from Bristol and Cardiff-Wales International Airport and 5 minutes from the Severn Bridge. It is located close to inter city rail services at Newport, with direct trains to Cardiff, London Paddington, and Birmingham.

Golf at The Celtic Manor Resort 

As venue for the 2010 Ryder Cup and home of The Celtic Manor Wales Open, a leading European Tour event, The Celtic Manor Resort offers some of the finest golf courses and facilities in the UK.  These include the Roman RoadThe Twenty Ten Course and The Montgomerie.

The Twenty Ten Course currently has availability everyday during the week of the conference, Monday 9th to Sunday 15th, from around 10am each morning until 3pm each afternoon. Teams of four golfers tee off on the hour then every 12 minutes.

Cost of the green fee is £135 per person, discounted providing they are resident with us, should they not be resident then the green fee would be charged at £155. Anyone wishing to book a round of golf should contact the Reservations Office directly on 01633 410262. You will be asked to secure the booking with full prepayment and there will be a 7 day cancellation deadline.

Both the Roman Road and the Montgomerie Course have varied availability from 07.40 each morning the week of the eris@ conference. Tee times are every 10 minutes on both these courses and are played in teams of four.   

The cost for Residents is £65 per person or for non-residents £75 per person. Guests will be asked to secure any bookings with full prepayment at the time of booking and bound in a 7 day cancellation policy.
