Travelling to the conference venue 

The Celtic Manor is conveniently located just off the M4 motorway 45 minutes from Bristol and Cardiff airports. London Heathrow airport is also just an hour and a half drive direct along one road, as they are both situated on the M4 motorway. 

The organisaiton will be providing some shuttle services from Cardiff and Bristol airports to the venue. This will depend on demand but have also listed a number of suggested flights for which we will be providing a shuttle service to the Celtic Manor.

Staffed welcome desks will also be placed at both Bristol and Cardiff airports to offer you any help you might need with your onward travel to the conference.

Hotel accomodation

The eris@ annual conference 2008 is hosted at the five-star Celtic Manor Resort and Hotel in Newport, Wales, UK – home to the Ryder Cup 2010. The hotel boasts a state of the art convention centre and exhibition hall, luxurious accommodation, spa facilities and world-class golfing facilities.

Accommodation for 200 delegates has been pre-booked at the Celtic Manor Resort at a preferential rate of £100 / per night (breakfast and VAT included). Normal rate for a single room booked for this time without our special rate at the resort hotel would be £240.
