Welcome visit: The Wales Experience 2008
The Welsh Assembly Government are delighted to be hosting the Annual eris@ Conference Cymru/Wales in Newport 11th-13th June, 2008.
To provide delegates with a flavour of the rich culture and heritage available in Wales they are organising a short tour which will visit key landmarks in Wales’ capital city, Cardiff.
Delegates will be collected at 17.00 from the Celtic Manor Resort and taken on a guided tour of the city centre.
Your guide will explain the History of our civic buildings and Cardiff Castle as you pass through Cardiff city centre on your way to a tour of our Millennium Stadium – home to the Welsh Rugby Grand Slam Winners!
You will be escorted by bus to visit Cardiff Bay which will culminate in a visit to the Welsh Assembly Government’s new debating chamber, The Senedd. Refreshments will be provided.You will return to the Celtic Manor in time for the welcome barbecue.
The Welsh warm welcome is famous and they promise to inject some ‘hwyl’ into your stay. In short, the Welsh Assembly Government plan to provide you with a flavour of what’s on offer…..and hope that you come back and stay in Wales in the future.
Please note that to enter the Welsh Assembly Government’s new debating chamber you will need to go through a securuty and identity check; therefroe bring your ID card along! |
