In January 2003 Mr. Luis Casas Luengo started as Managing Director at FUNDECYT (Foundation for the Development of Science and Technology in Extremadura). In October 2001- December 2002 he worked in the Centre for New IS Initiatives, Directorate Regional of information Society, Ministry on Education, Science and Technology, Extremadura, Spain as Director. From October 1996 – October 2001 in worked in the Extremadura Liaison Office to the European Communities in Brussels as Head of Office and has worked at the European Affairs Service in Extremadura Regional Government, Mérida as an Assistant. He also spent time in the European Studies Centre at Universidad de Alcalá de Henares (Madrid) as Researcher and Teacher on Community Law courses.
