IANIS⁺ Proposal

The final proposal for IANIS⁺ (follow up of IANIS, the Innovative Actions Network for the Information Society) was approved by DG Regional Policy, European Commission, last June 2005.

Duration of the work programme is 22 months ( March 2005 - December 2006)

IANIS⁺ builds on the progress of IANIS to further develop inter-regional networking; providing more effective mechanisms to facilitate sharing information, experience and good practice between regions – both by face-to-face meetings and virtual exchanges and undertaking research and analysis and evaluations of Regional Innovative Actions Programmes and related regional IS initiatives.
